Shift Register Boards

Shift register boards use a shift register type interface to allow a large number of outputs to be controlled from only four Arduino pins. These boards are designed to be daisy chained together, allowing large number of output channels to be controlled off a single Arduino. For examples, the sixteen channel shield can be daisy chained to give as many as 400 outputs from only four arduino pins.
